started Cup of Tea Productions, Inc. after a long, successful career in commercial radio production. She started her career in this industry in 1996 when two "old-timers" in the music industry approached her to come work in sales at a new recording sales company in Burbank. The company was Sierra Audio Systems, where she sold recording audio equipment to the likes of Capitol Records, Creative Café and Disney.
After having a very successful sales career she next moved on to garner a new position as Sales Administrator at Aphex Systems. Here she learned as much as she felt she could about the manufacturing of compressors and limitors that make Aphex the top of the line outboard gear in the world.
Although she loved this job with Aphex, Danni found herself yearning for the studio environment and the editing part of what she learned and sold. Her love was digital editing and recording.
A studio in Burbank, whom she once sold equipment to in her sales days, was seeking an engineer/editor to meet the demands of the digital environment. She started working right away...also having to learn "old school" editing on tape!
After 8 great years at the studio in Burbank, she was pushed yet again by two young video game producers. They thought she would be great at doing games and, because of her work ethic, they knew they could count on her.
So...with much push, she decided in early 2004 to just "go for it," and thus was born Cup of Tea Productions, Inc.

started out in "The Biz" as a receptionist (or as we liked to call it a “phone engineer”) for Sierra Audio Systems in 1998. Although Sierra Audio Systems was a short-lived rental and audio sales facility, she quickly jumped to Aphex Systems were she was once again a “phone engineer”. Here she saw the inside of manufacturing for recording outboard gear.
Through her experiences at Sierra Audio Systems and Aphex Systems, and keeping her head in the game, she got into the inside of audio rentals for location recording. With that newly-obtained knowledge, she went on to work for Coffey Sound were she was the only female rental person. She could put together any and all location recording packages. Her reputation was impressive.
Wanting more, she landed an engineering position for voice over workshops with Kalmenson & Kalmenson. She loved that side of the business and wanted to learn more. So they brought her onboard full time in the education department. She mastered this task as well.
After a few wonderful years at K&K, her sister Danielle was well on her way with Cup of Tea Productions and in desperate need of her sister's knowledge and professionalism to jump in and help the growing business. So in April 2005, Lainie came on board to handle all the Talent Coordination and Scheduling, and also become Vice President of Cup of Tea Productions, Inc.
Lainie looks forward to many long business relationships with Cup of Tea clients.
